we did not get our room which we reserved, online we booked 2 people in a female dorm, but there were NO female rooms and we couldn't be together :-( and the security was bad, somebody's camera was stolen out of the room!

Hightly recommended. How often is it that you find a new hostel? This recently opened hostel has it all. We visited all the major beach locations. Include La Paloma and Balconada Beach Hostel in your plans.

Rooms are so small you can hardly turn around and will surely ban your head against the light when climbing up on your bunk. Rooms have sliding doors that can't be closed, so security is a concern (one camera got stolen while we were there). Also, staff tried to cheat us on the USDURU exchange rate (they charge in USD). Great location, though.

Beutiful located hostel located within comfortable walking distance from the beach. The staff was really helpfull when our camera got stolen. Highly recomendable and one of the best hostels we've stayed on!

It was a good hostel and just on the other side of the road from being on the beach. It had nice rooms and bathrooms (part of this may be since it is still pretty new). The staff was polite but not super friendly.

Santi, one of the owners is the best man you can find in Uruguay .
Great location near to the beach.
