Would definately suggest anyone stay here when visiting Florence. Just be aware of the hike you have to make to get to the city, its not long but was a bit steep for some of my friends.

Be sure you get to Deiva Marina before 9 pm! we missed a train and ended up hiking 3km to the place. Fairly boring and early to be sort of place. Stay in Riamaggiore if you want to hike the trails in the Cinque Terre. Too far away.

Its a bit old and neglected but a good place to stay. Its a bit of a trip so make sure you find out the shuttle times and line these up with the train times or you will have to wait ages for the shuttle. There is also a local bus which will take you there from the station which you can buy tickets for at the station or on board, which they don't mention. We also walked from the station - about 2.5kms30 minutes. Very helpful staff.

Great for a campground...just outside of the five towns in deiva marina but has one of the nicest beaches, met lots of cool people!

For the price good camping, we satyed in the campings own big tents with real beds inside. Very friendly staff, the free shuttle buss was very useful. You can only get to the camping by walking 3 km inland (camping is not close to the sea) or get a ride with the campings free shuttle us. We recommend to call before arrival at train station and get picked up!

I really enjoyed the time we spent in chinque terre i was suprised at how dirty our cabin was when we arrived. there was no where to get any food from after about 7pm which was a problem. other than that the staff where fantastic and the showers and toilets where very clean.

This is a lovely caravan park, the tents are great and excellent value, however it is a long way from Cinque terre and without a car the train trips add up. Also there is not a lot to do in Deiva Marina. So if you are looking for a place to get away from life, this would be perfect.

This campsite is run by the same company we stayed with in Rome so we had our expectations set pretty high. It literally was just a trailer park. The tent didn't lock and didn't actually surround the floor so there were always bugs in the tent. The shuttle bus is free but it does not run every half hour and the walk to town takes about 45 min. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay since we paid less in Rome for much better accommodations.

If you stay in a tent, make sure you bring your own bag locks, because you can't lock the tents.
