I had a fantastic time at Cape Town Backpackers. The place has a great layout (between the bar, the deck and the cafe) conducive to meeting other travelers and making new friends. The staff are some of the friendliest and most fun people I met while traveling. They're also knowledgeable on activities in and around the city. The place was spotless. And the security, day and night, was top-notch. I would highly recommend this backpackers to all visiting Cape Town.

we had a great time at the capetown backpakers, the staff are great fun and easy to get along with. The food provided from the kitchen and theme nights is always great. We will deffinately be back here next time in Cape town!

big differences between quality of rooms. Our first room was very noicy located by a big road. The rooms were also very hot in december, there weren't any fans to use to get a lower temperature inside. The best house is the one behind the main building, though a bit more expensive, it's worth it.

The staff at Cape Town Backpackers were very friendly and helpful. I used CTB as a drop off location while on tour (Garden Route), and it was perfect. My (single - double bed) room was very clean and spacious with great views of Table Mountain. I was able to leave my luggage there when I return my from tour which was very helpful.

having visited cape town four times this is by far the best place stayed, even though some were more expensive !!!!!
