filthy,dirty place.owner accusing customers bringing bedbugsfor desperation!!!!! and critisizing other hostels in the city. never ever again. bad crime area,cerfews etc... dont go,please!!!!

The Ritz of the the Hostel world. Easily one of the best hostels I have stayed at. Not a party Hostel but the staff are great, very helpful and knowledgeable. The location at first seemed dodgy but after a couple of days realized that it was a safe district. To top it all of the hostel has very comfortable double beds!!!

a great place to stay with an excellent manager! it was perfect to see also that being in its location that DC is not perfect and the outskirts make DC what it is as a whole. Thanks Bill - loved our short stay there!

It's really really really an awsome place to stay in DC. The owner, Bill, is absolutely a nice guy who treats every guest as a family member. And the transportation is definitely convinient---you can take a bus directly to the White House!!! All other guests are friendly to each other, which is quite different from other hostels I've ever tried.

I have found a sense of home and family in Capital City Hostel. The manager, Bill, is so nice a guy. The transportation to the main historical interests is very convienient. X 2 bus will take you to Union station, China Town every 10 minutes.

hostel is located in 2 different houses.
If u're in the first house with bill, u are lucky.
in the other house there is this guy who is not talkin and only on his notebook.
