Definitely a great place to stay in NYC

This is a great place with plenty of charm and its location is good. Its not too far to walk up to Times Square or down to China Town or the Financial District. Union Square is just across the road with plenty of restuarants. I was worried after reading previous reviews but I though it was a great place to stay and would recommend it. I'll stay there again as its good value and the breakfast is very good from the place downstairs.

most of the staff were nice... most :) Try to get one of the rooms ont the 1st floor moreover if u have heavy luggage like us. Besides that the place its nice, and the bathroom was very clean

We stayed here for 3 nights & the 1st night we were woken at 3am covered in bites! When we approached the staff in the morning they were very unapologetic although offered for us to move to a twin room (not a double). We moved rooms & received more bites but to a lesser extent. Also, a rude staff member at the front desk booked our airport shuttle for the wrong time & then refused to help us book anything else, saying our best bet was to walk a block with all our luggage & try to hail a taxi.

Location was good but as a traveller on my own there was little opportunity to interact with others. Otherwise a good place to stay in New York and would consider it again
