We had to leave really early (6.30am)& didn't want to disturb the 3 other occupants by switching on lights & running the shower. So we left feeling half awake and unwashed. We cleaned our teeth in a downstairs general toilet. The same thing has happened to me before & I really don't like it. I would prefer bathrooms outside the bedrooms except in 2-person or private rooms.

This was a well run, clean and well equipped hostel. Showers and beds were fine. The location was a fair way out of the city but walkable (20 mins). It was very large so lacked the intimacy of a smaller hostel.

Not easy to find the hostel especially in the raining night.
No free breakfast included.

Great nice staff, comfortable bedrooms, thought they should have a locker per bed. The ambience is kind of cold and serious. The computers in the living room are expensive and inefficient, they really suck.

This is a fantastic hostel in a beautiful part of Glasgow, this was my third visit and I would definately go back. The only thing to be aware of is that it is in a very quiet part of town so I would advise single women to be careful returning late at night.
