Location is probably best to be in Sydney in busy period like new year. Staff is excellent and breakfast even so.

A great choice. Crossing the bay by ferry is fast and easy and the most relaxing way of starting a day. And the breakfast, which is included in the price is just great. When I visit Sydney again, I will definitely stay at the Glenferrie Lodge again.

Beautiful building, brekkie was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to walk outside to get to the toilets and showers, since I had an outside room. But, other than that, I can't say anything negative about this place. Would stay here again.

Really nice place. Rooms are clean and comfy. The only thing to take into account is the ferry back into the city.

I had a great time! I chose the "share room" because I didn't really need a lot of amenities for just sleeping, plus I hoped to meet some people -- and I did the last night there -- she was French and spoke little English, but we discovered we could chatter away in Spanish! (I had lived in Caracas and she had been a Spanish teacher!). Thanks for a great time!
