Excellent value for money, staff were great, everywhere very clean. Location was ok, but the instructions on hostelworld were ridiculous - i showed them to a member of staff and he changed it online there and then.
Maybe because its the off season, but the hostel was very quiet - no common room, and i had a 6 bed room to myself - no bad thing!

location could be better, it's not too far from town, but feels a bit dodgy. staff were great though, and free coffee, toast etc whenever you want. everything was new and clean.

The best hostel I've stayed in. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, affordable room with breakfast and in a great location, this is it! Hatters has apparently been completely renovated and is really nice! Comfy bed and spotless bathroom with hot water. Was more like a hotel.

When i stayed, it was recently opened. But its on the right tracks to be a great place. i stayed in a twin-ensuite...very nice, would stay again no problems. Staff were lovely...2 thumbs up.

A little frustrating there was no wifi even in the lobby area. Toast any time was great but really no character to the hostel and no good place to relax for a little while to kill some time
