A beautiful property in a great location - pity the staff weren't more friendly. As the only guest I thought they might have talked to me instead of spending most of the time hogging the television...

It's a bit hotel-like.
Quite small rooms.
The heating in the shared roomsspaces did not work properly.

Perfect location to explore Newgrange, you do need a car if you're going to see some of the other sights. Hostel is really hotel standard, with great kitchen and breaky, and lovely staff.

By far the most beautiful hostel (and hotel) I've ever stayed at. I thought I was in the wrong place. Comfortable, cozy, very clean, lots of space to hang out. Bring food - there's NOTHING within walking distance (and roads are narrow and scary).

This was an AMAZING hostel... it looked like a fancy 5 star hotel that had added a couple hostel rooms. It wouldn't be ideal for much else then seeing the newgrange area and the buirlial mounds but thats what we were doing so it was GREAT!!!

20 min walk from nearest shops. Attractive lodge, but hostel areas verging on unclean - mouldy bathroom, hairs and lint on my undersheet etc

Place was very nice and people were great. I would recommend to anyone traveling in the area. We stayed for two days and have no complaints at all.
