Had a really good time there location was very good and staff super helpful.
Not the cleanest or most spacious but if your not too picky you'll have a great time.
Only thing that is slightly irritating is thew kitchen is pretty small considering the amount of people who live there.
On the whole is definatley worth a visit and is cheap.

Westend was my favourite hostel in Australia. It has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and all the staff are extremely helpful. The common areas are a great place for meeting people and having fun with friends and the hostels entertainment program gets everyone together every night of the week. Will def stay here every time I am in Sydney had so much fun!

Never again! To loud, to full, to many things were broken. Not much stuff in the kitchen, very very small rooms, no window, bad air!

A great party hostel with something going on every night easy to meet people. Though was a bit crowded in the kitchen and could've been cleaner.

Couldn't recommend this hostel to anyone really. The whole experience was like a chavvy 18-30s holiday. Crap dance music pumping 247 in all communal areas. Dirty kitchen. Not enough space in fridges. All about getting "smashed" & "wasted" & "messy". No thanks! Not really what I was looking for I'm afraid. Sorry!

For the amount you spend you expect a lot more. Only 5 gas hobs for 300+ people,half the fridges were broken, cockroaches running around, stupidly loud music and 5 saucepans. We also had 2 bags nicked from the fridges. Apart from that the location is great and the staff were friendly. There are cheaper&better hostels elsewhere!!!
