Nubian Oasis Hotel is amazing. They arranged a pick-up helping us to avoid all hassle. We really enjoyed our staying here and hot-air balloon also.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Nubian Oasis. The manager Mansor was ace. I met up with a few people there and he showed us some bars etc. The roof top terrace was lovely to chill out in and as a female travelling alone it was one of the places I felt most comfortable. Mohammed tries to sell tours and seems quite aggressive but in fairness the tour I took was a good one.

Ok, on first glance it seems a little rough but what it lacks in luster it makes up for in character and great people.

Can\'t understand why this place is rated so highly. It\'s very noisy and definitely nothing special. Staff got angry and hostile when I asked for refund for sunrise balloon trip which I didn\'t get.

The staff is very frindly and helpfull, really nice people, and the breakfast on the rooftop is one of the best things they have.

Touts try to steal you from other hostels. They are liars. Do not trust.

Mr Karam, the managerorganized our trips within 3 minutes of arrival. Nice idea of tea and cakes on the roof at 5 p.m. to chat to other fellow travellers. Recommended. Globetrotter Kris

Pretty basic hotel, although about what you'd expect for the price. The lobby had a few cockroaches crawling around and we had problems with the lights and shower in our room, but the staff was friendly. Avoid the tours, you can do them much cheaper by yourself.
