Great location for a clean, inexpensive hostel. The front desk staff wasn't so excited to help us. But for a cheap, safe place to stay in Cancun, this is a great option.

You would think you were asking the reception staff to kill their own mother rather than "can you check we have a room reserved please?". Rude and miserable!

We had a private room (2 double beds for four people) & it was great. Very cleanly & well kept up. My only complaint would be the lack of an elevator. :)

I am so happy with the time I spent at the Hotel Soberanis, I can't say enough good about it. The staff was great, teh room clean, and the air conditioner worked well. Close to shops and food, I felt safe walking at night, and had a great time. THanks to the lovely staff for being so kind to a single female traveller!
