Booked into Sundays but it might have been overbooked because they put us in a guesthouse over the road. There was no window or toilet seat and no hot water or latch on the door. Staff at Sunday guesthouse were nice and helpful though.

Good for the price, but a little creepy. No closable windows, just screens, so we'd be woken whenever we heard someones mobile ringtone from outside in the middle of the night(which happened suprisingly often). Strange, unexplained fence on top of the roof of our shower. Not really sure what that was all about.

So many bugs, so gross! Breakfast was good but eating around so many flies and mosquitoes was not so cool.

Take a key with you as they seem to lock up early! We had trouble getting back in around 10pm! 3 large single beds in a room was excellent - hard to find for 3 friends travelling together.

My room was OK, but the window to the street had been left open = lots of mossies The window couldn't be closed from the inside. The sink leaked, bathroom door broken. My friend's room had a bad sink leak and was dirty. Would be acceptable for $5 a night but not for what we paid. We got much better accom in Phnom Penh (Rory's Guesthouse, which is also much closer to the main attractions in PP) and in Siem Reap for equal or less. Wouldn't recommend.

This is my worst experience of booking hostel from the hostelworld.com.
Staff is not qualified or polite. My flight arrived around the middle night. Several days before the set out, I wrote email to confirm arrival time and my booking room. However, when arrive, they told me no room available. And the old woman pretend that she didn't know anything about the online booking. Of course, I didn't get my 10% booking fee back. This guesthouse should be the LAST choice!
