when i arrived there were no keys for my room. i arrived at twele and got my at 6 o'clock. and when i entered my room i saw it was already full. so finnaly someone at seven they found another room for one of us.

Not impressed. At Cecil I enjoyed lukewarm showers and incredibly lacklustre service, left to sleep without a pillow despite two requests earlier that day. I received no key which isnt great if you like being able enter your own roomdon

Really friendly staff and a fantastic building. Not the best place to meet people but perfect if you want a bit of privacy in a friendly setting full of character. The only way it will become better for meeting people is if more travellers take notice of what a great place it is and decide to stay there - it's such an interesting experience - very different to the more common, modern, souless Ozzi hostels.
