The staff is really good, the room and the bathroom are not so clean and the place has a lot of things to do, such as the regulars goods YMCA's. But if you want to go to manhattan every day, this place is very out of the way. Like 2 hours to cross the island.

the staff are really nice- but you are very far away from everything and, while the ymca facilities are great- staying in one of the den rooms upstairs isnt. scary if you're travelling on your own. i left as soon as i found sonewhere else.

This hostel is little more than a gymsports club with some rooms attached. No common room or social facilities are provided. Also located in a very shady area of Brooklyn---don't go out after dark!

This hostel is without a shadow of a doubt the absolute pinnacle of awfulness. The area it's in is on a par with Dante's seven circles of hell, and I was genuinely petrified for my life for the one night I ended up staying there. The room was boiling, with a raucous generator outside the window and a light that shone directly onto the bed, so had about two hours of sleep all night. Staff are mostly deeply unfriendly, and the washing facilities are abysmal. Steer clear of this with a barge-

The ladies behind the desk were immensely pleasant and helpful. The fridge in my room smelt suspicious and the TV reception was lacking.

That is a really nice hostel , safe and confortable, the only problem is that is is far from Manhatan the main touristic site.
