The water in the bathroom is bad. It is difficult to adjust the hotness or coldness. It either gets scalding hot or freezing cold.
No one answered my calls from the hotel room to the reception or to the housekeeping section too.

If you are in New York mainly for the Broadway shows, this hotel might not be the best in terms of location. Other than that, this hotel is a great deal.

The location of the hotel is absolutely fabulous. I found the desk staff to be really helpful and accommodating and the muffins and coffee were excellent! The room was clean and homely and was always nice and warm. My only slight criticism of the hotel (and it is slight) is that the staff employed at the information desk to give information about the area and the attractions did not seem to know the area at all and on a couple of occassions we were given wrong information.

Almost all the people that works there seems to be angry, not very helpful. They charge me for 2 unsuccessfull phone calls to a Tollfree number 1 USD each.
I won't return to this hotel.

The Hotel is very beautyfull. The rooms are big and confortable. The zone is fantastic, very close to the Empire. The only lack is that there is a smell like gasoline in the room... But for me wasn't a problem.. for the rest is all exellent! good pricequality

A very nice bargain hotel. An excellent location. You have a great look onto the Empire State Bldg when you step out of the hotel. Our room was clean and bathroom and beds were made every day.
Though it was very quite outside it was warm enough in the room though we thought that the heating didn't work perfectly.
Just perfect is the small breakfast in the morning. You can have as much muffins, coffee and tea as you want. We would come back again and stay here.

Our shower made a horrible noise when it was turned to hot. We complained about it everyday and everyday the fixit man came to look at it but couldn't make it stop. Certainly not ideal, but not that bad either.
