Typical YHA, clean and tidy kitchen and bathroom. Hostel is old and needs updating. Rooms are way too small and they cram you in. One member of staff was so unhelp and rude but that was a only one of them. Location was brillant, great views and nice walk into town.

Good hostel. Beautifully situated right on the lakefront with a nice 10 walk into the town centre. Kitchen and bathroom factilites were excellent. Only downside was that the double room we got was really, really tiny.

Hostel is about 10min walk into the center.Its a nice walk in by the lake.Hostel itself is clean,theres a small selection of dvds and they have 2 channels which arent the best.Staff are real friendly.

this hostel was extremely noisy, i know its queenstown but being 10 minutes out i expected it to be quieter. i also had the worst room, no.6, which was right next to the stairs and just above the kitchen. when the noise finally died down, they decided to vacuum, at 3am!!
there was finger marks on the walls, and make up spattered everywhere.
its not worth the 10 minute walk out.

the room cleaners left the door unlocked every day despite a notice reminding guests not to do this.the 10 pm noise rule was not properly enforced.over all not happy

In booking in.i was not told of the key code of door witch closes after 9.00pm,and also there was no security after reception closed,and the tv room is tiny tiny.
