The "Estrela do Mar" (Starfish) Pousada, is located on the beachfront of the 2nd praia- the most famous beach in the lovely town of Morro de São Paulo. The village is located in the northern part of Tinharé Island, and offers a unique blend of History, Bahian culture, amazing beaches and Night Life throughout the year. The pousada has a lovely balcony with hammocks and lounge chairs overlooking the beach and ocean. The balcony is a great place to relax, have a cup of coffee or get to know some of the other guests from different parts of the world.There are both double and dormitory rooms with air conditioning/ fan, all of which have a private bathroom.Every morning a homemade breakfast "café da manhã" is served right on the beachfront, and consists of coffee, juice, fruit, cakes, fresh bread, omlettes and more. Rita, the founder and owner of the posada since 1987, is also a seamstress and an artist.
